The Sollax Safety Laboratory, accredited by the General Accreditation Coordination of Inmetro (Cgcre) under number CRL 2033 , in accordance with the requirements of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 , has recognized technical competence for the execution of laboratory tests applied to fire suppression systems and agents, according to the approved scope.
Accreditation constitutes the formal recognition of a laboratory's ability to produce technically valid, traceable, and reliable results within the limits defined in its accreditation scope.
TECHNICAL SCOPE
1. Tests in Foam Generating Liquid (LGE)
The laboratory conducts physical-chemical and performance tests on Foam Generating Liquids (FGLs) used in fire suppression systems, with the aim of verifying their compliance with regulatory requirements, operational performance, and suitability for use.
Types of tests performed:
Determining the rate of foam expansion.
Determining the drainage time (25% and/or 50%)
Evaluation of foam stability
Evaluation of foam formation and quality.
Operational performance tests (when applicable)
Technical specifications:
Applicable technical standards (e.g., ABNT, ISO, NFPA, IMO – as applicable)
Internal procedures validated and controlled in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

2. Performance Tests by Fire Test
The laboratory performs fire tests under controlled conditions, designed to evaluate the performance of extinguishing agents, foam-generating liquids, and fire suppression systems.
Test characteristics:
Simulation of representative fire scenarios (class and scale according to applicable method)
Assessment of extinguishing efficiency
Verification of response time and fire control.
Analysis of suppression and reignition capacity
Technical control:
Execution in accordance with validated technical procedures.
Monitoring of critical variables (fuel, area, temperature, application)
Recording and traceability of results

Performance validation of fire suppression systems
Tests for technical qualification

QUALITY ASSURANCE OF TESTS
The tests performed by the laboratory are conducted under a quality management system that ensures:

The accreditation granted by Cgcre/Inmetro is part of international mutual recognition agreements, including:

Therefore, the results issued by the laboratory have technical recognition at the national and international levels, in accordance with applicable agreements.
